The PRISMA 2021 Conference is held online in collaboration with the Universitat de València, with the support of the Department of Language Theory and Communication Sciences (Faculty of Philology, Translation and Communication) and diversitats.
What is diversitats?
From the conviction of the richness of the diversity of each and every one of the people who are part of the university community, the University of Valencia is committed to the recognition, respect, and revaluation of the differences that make us unique.
In this sense, in accordance with current legislation and in response to social responsibility as a public institution of higher education, the University of Valencia has launched an initiative for equality in diversity in the broad sense, which includes affective-sexual, family, and gender diversity, ethnic-cultural and religious diversity. This project, promoted by the Vice-Rectorate for Equality, Diversity, and Sustainability, is called diversitats, lowercase, and plural, with the intention of breaking with the norm and hierarchy and inviting plurality.
With the commitment that the recognition of diversity is a firm commitment and a priority for the University of Valencia, a collaboration agreement has been signed with the Generalitat Valenciana, through the Vice-Presidency and the Department of Equality and Inclusive Policies, for the promotion of training activities, research, dissemination, and awareness of equality in diversity in the university community.
