The LGBTIQA+ community has gained a lot of visibility in the last decades, in terms of our legally guaranteed rights as well as in our daily lives. Just like in other social domains, lesbian, gay, trans*, bisexual, intersex, queer, asexual and other identities outside of the cis-heterosexual norms are present in Science, Technology and Innovation, and with them their unique perspectives. Sharing these perspectives can help us recognize biases and inequalities that still persist, promote the participation of our community in knowledge-generating activities and build safer and more inclusive spaces in research.
PRISMA invites members of the LGBTIQA+ community and allies to present their work from all areas of Science, Technology and Innovation. Our main goal is to create an interdisciplinary space of sharing knowledge and lived experiences. Attendees will have the chance to extend their support networks and meet other LGBTIQA+ people working in Science, Technology and Innovation.
